About Us

The principal attorney, Maaria Mahmood, focuses exclusively on immigration law. Her mission is to provide quality and individualized care to each client. Over the last about eight years of practice in immigration law, she has successfully helped hundreds of clients with their immigration cases, ranging from removal defense, waivers, abuse-based petitions, family immigration, and naturalization. Immigration law is complex, and she ensures your case is handled with the utmost care. Additionally, two non-profits have hired her to provide her expertise and build their immigration law department. She was previously an Associate at Zwaik, Gilbert & Associates, managing the firm’s Brooklyn Office and sub-managing the firm’s litigation unit. Prior to that, she worked at private firms and interned for several immigration clinics and non-profits. She graduated from Rutgers University magna cum laude. She went on to receive her law degree from Brooklyn Law School. She was born first generation to immigrant parents from Pakistan. She is fluent in Hindi, Urdu, and Punjabi.
